2027: Ebonyi commissioner resigns, joins PDP

Ebonyi State Commissioner for Project Monitoring, Felix Igboke, has resigned and defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2027 general elections. He announced his defection at a PDP gathering in Isu, Onicha Local Government Area, claiming to have brought over 10,000 supporters. Igboke described his return as a homecoming, having started his political career with the PDP. State PDP chairman Chukwuma Igwe welcomed the defectors, calling it a major boost for the party.
