2027: Buhari's son, Yusuf declares interest for political position

Yusuf, the son of Nigeria's late former president Muhammadu Buhari, has declared his intention to run for the House of Representatives in the 2027 general election. He will contest for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’Adua constituency in Katsina State, as disclosed by former presidential aide Bahir Ahmad. Yusuf Buhari's decision follows extensive consultations and comes after his father ruled Nigeria from 2015 to 2023.
