2027: Nigerian Senator Ndume plans to return to NASS for fifth time - Shehu

Babandi Shehu, a public affairs analyst, stated that Senator Ali Ndume plans to return to the National Assembly in 2027 to represent the Borno South Senatorial District. Youths from the nine local government areas are already advocating for his return ahead of the All Progressives Congress primaries. Ndume, a fourth-time senator, has been critical of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and raised concerns about the country's tax laws set to take effect in January 2027.
