2027: No vacancy – Nnamani, Nwobodo, Awkunanaw clan endorse Mbah

The people of the Awkunanaw clan, spanning several communities in Enugu South and Nkanu West Local Government Areas, endorsed the state governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, for a second term in 2027 during a large rally at the Civic Centre in Akpasha. They presented him with an Ofo, a symbol of authority, stating he had achieved remarkable feats in less than three years. Community leaders, including former Senate President Ken Nnamani, asserted that Mbah is the best choice for Enugu and called for unity to defend his mandate.
