Comoros thrashed Sudan 30-0 on aggregate (17-0, 13-0) in the first round of the 2028 Olympic qualifiers. They will face Nigeria's Super Falcons in the next round. Nigeria won two friendlies against Senegal (3-0 and 2-1). Two African nations will qualify for the women's football event at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
