Patrick Vieira was officially introduced as the new coach of Senegal and revealed his squad of 29 players for the CAN 2027 qualifiers. For these initial matches, he called up eight new players, including Ngagne Demba Thiam and Mamour Ndiaye as goalkeepers, as well as Malang Sarr and Sadibou Sané in defense. Senegal will play its first match against Mozambique on September 25 and a friendly against Comoros on October 4 in Marseille.
