25,000 Nigerian graduates still await NYSC mobilisation 7 yrs after — NANS

More than 25,000 Nigerian graduates who studied in the Republic of Niger remain unable to begin national service seven years after completing their studies, according to the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). NANS President Abubakar Muhammad Uwaisu stated that the affected graduates met all legal and academic requirements but have been shut out of the mobilisation process. He also mentioned deliberate efforts to frustrate this process, citing communications purportedly from the Republic of Niger as an obstacle.
