Eighteen suspects extradited to US over Haitian president’s 2021 killing

Eighteen suspects accused of involvement in the 2021 assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise have been extradited to the United States. A military flight transported the suspects from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Florida, where they are set to face federal charges. This extradition follows previous convictions of gang leaders linked to the plot. US Attorney Jason A Reding Quinones stated that this marks a significant step in the pursuit of justice for Moise's assassination.
