Iran rejects a meeting between Trump and Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi rejected the possibility of a meeting between Donald Trump and Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, during an interview with Al-Mayadeen. This followed Trump's remarks to the New York Post expressing a desire to meet Khamenei. Despite ongoing indirect nuclear talks mediated by Oman, Tehran remains skeptical of rapid normalization with Washington. No changes to the diplomatic calendar were announced.
