Israel arms Greece against Turkey with a €3.1 billion air defense shield

Israel and Greece have signed a €3.1 billion defense contract for a multi-layer air defense system called 'Achilles Shield'. This contract, the largest in the history of the Israeli defense industry, also includes the sale of anti-drone systems for €26 million. Approximately €700 million of the total amount will go to Greek companies for the manufacturing and integration of the systems, as relations between Turkey, Greece, and Israel remain tense.
