Cameroon: Fu'a Toula Kadji D. Foundation awards millions to scientific excellence laureates

The Fu'a Toula Kadji Defosso Foundation held its Scientific Excellence Award ceremony at the K Hotel in Douala. The initiative expands the QBTS Award (Quality Back To School), originally created to reward teachers and top-performing science-track high school graduates. The foundation says it aims to give greater visibility to Cameroon’s thousands of science graduates and encourage young talent through recognition and role models. The report says the laureates received millions but does not specify the amounts or recipients.
