AES: Niamey suspends France 24, RFI, Jeune Afrique and 6 others, Ouagadougou already hit TV5 Monde

The National Communication Observatory (ONC) of Niger has suspended the broadcasting of nine media outlets, including France 24 and RFI, due to content deemed harmful to public order and institutional stability. This decision follows an earlier suspension of TV5 Monde by Burkina Faso for promoting terrorism and misinformation. Authorities in both countries justify these measures as necessary to protect national security and the morale of defense forces.
