Iran releases assets of women’s football captain in Australia asylum row

Iran's judiciary announced that the assets of Zahra Ghanbari, captain of the women's football team, have been released after being seized following her asylum claim in Australia, which she later withdrew. Ghanbari was part of a group of players who sought asylum after refusing to sing the national anthem at the Asian Cup. Five of them, including Ghanbari, ultimately decided to return to Iran, where they received a hero's welcome.
