DRC: approximately 31 million students for the 2026-2027 school year, Raïssa Malu demands concrete results from educational reforms

The 2026-2027 school year began on September 1 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with approximately 31 million students expected. The Minister of National Education, Raïssa Malu, emphasized the importance of the presence of teachers and students, as well as the quality of education. She also addressed the challenges posed by insecurity and the Ebola outbreak in some provinces, while stressing the need to implement the educational reforms initiated.
