35 members of police’s Western Cape anti-gang unit under criminal investigation

Thirty-five members of the Western Cape police's anti-gang unit are under criminal investigation. The investigation was initiated due to allegations of corruption and other inappropriate conduct within the unit. Authorities stated that they take these accusations very seriously and that a thorough investigation will be conducted.
