Health and Safety at Work: JAPRP and JMSST Aim to Build a Sustainable Prevention Culture by 2040

The 30th African Day for the Prevention of Occupational Risks (JAPRP) and the 24th World Day for Safety and Health at Work (JMSST) took place in Abidjan on April 30, 2025. Idriss Traoré, Deputy Director General of CNPS, highlighted the progress made while pointing out ongoing challenges, particularly the low coverage of workers in the informal sector. Participants recommended strengthening the national health and safety system and integrating emerging risks into public policies. Côte d'Ivoire aims to establish a sustainable prevention culture by 2040.
