Africa Morocco Link Boosts Almería-Nador Route Ahead of Marhaba 2026 Rush

Africa Morocco Link will strengthen the Almería-Nador maritime corridor for the Marhaba 2026 operation, with a seasonal service running from June 10 to September 15. The ferry will carry up to 1,500 passengers and 400 vehicles per crossing, providing an alternative to the expected congestion in the Strait of Gibraltar. Approximately 3.6 million travelers are anticipated during this period, and authorities are encouraging Moroccan expatriates to consider Almería as a primary entry point.
