France: African students will have to pay a high amount for their registrations

The French government has decided to significantly increase registration fees for non-European students, with tuition fees for bachelor's programs rising from 178 euros to nearly 3,000 euros per year. This measure, effective from the 2026 academic year, aims to enhance the selectivity of the French education system. Universities will have reduced options for exemptions, and students already enrolled will retain their current conditions until 2028.
