Displaced families returning to the Mbinga-Nord groupement in Kalehe territory (South Kivu) are living in precarious conditions, hosted by families in several villages. They face lack of shelter, food insecurity, limited healthcare access, and no income-generating activities. The New Civil Society of Kalehe, through its president Benjamin Mungazi, raises the alarm and calls for urgent humanitarian assistance with door-to-door identification. It denounces the exclusion of vulnerable people and urges partners such as Fond social, Croix Rouge, GIVE, DCA, AVSI, NRC, and PAME to fulfill their promises.
