Aminata Diallo files complaint over breach of investigative secrecy and witness tampering

Former PSG and France player Aminata Diallo filed a complaint on Monday against unidentified persons, seeking a judicial investigation into alleged breaches of investigative secrecy, forgery of a public document and witness tampering. Along with her lawyers, Romain Ruiz, Chloé Redon and Mourad Battikh, she accuses RMC journalist Daniel Riolo and at least two officers from the Brigade for the Repression of Banditry of disclosing material from the investigation into the assault on Kheira Hamraoui. The complaint also alleges that investigators steered a witness’s answers and tried to persuade journalist Romain Molina to change his account. Riolo was convicted of defamation in June 2025, while prosecutors in Versailles have sought a trial for Diallo, who is suspected of ordering Hamraoui’s 2021 assault.

The minister said failing to disclose the reason for a summons undermines procedural fairness and the defense rights protected by Senegal’s Constitution and the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights. Summonses must also identify whether a person is being called as a witness or a victim, allowing them to prepare and seek legal counsel if they wish.
