CAN 2027: dates, qualifiers, format... everything you need to know about the competition

The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, marking a return of the tournament to East Africa after more than fifty years. Forty-eight teams will participate in the qualifiers, with the group draw scheduled for May 19, 2026. The final phase will take place in June and July 2027, with the opening match set for June 19 and the final on July 17.
