DRC: Funerals of 26 schoolchildren killed in a fire in Bukavu

The 26 children killed in a stampede caused by a fire in Bukavu were buried on Saturday during an emotional ceremony, following three days of national mourning. The fire, whose origin remains unknown, also left 25 injured and destroyed hundreds of homes. The coffins of the victims, including 20 girls and six boys, were taken to their final resting place in the presence of representatives from the M23 authorities.
