Nigerian army foils kidnap attempt, rescues four victims in Sokoto

Troops of the Nigerian Army's Operation FANSAN YAMMA foiled a kidnapping attempt by suspected terrorists in Surimi, Danko-Wasagu LGA, Kebbi State, bordering Sokoto. Four kidnapped individuals were rescued with no troop casualties. Acting on intelligence, troops engaged the terrorists, who abandoned the victims and fled. The rescued were reunited with their families.
