4 years after Owo massacre, we still nurse wounds — Bishop Arogundade

The Catholic Bishop of Ondo Diocese, Most Rev. Jude Arogundade, says the Church still bears the emotional and psychological scars of the June 5, 2022 attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, which killed 41 worshippers and injured over 100. Four years on, the Diocese continues to support victims and families, including a seminarian whose both parents were killed. The recent death sentence of four suspects cannot erase the pain, and the bishop believes the attack was planned and sponsored.
