Gaza: Shireen makes dolls to survive and give hope to children

In the Jabaliya displaced persons camp, Shireen al-Kurdi makes dolls to escape poverty and provide comfort to children affected by war. A mother of five, she started creating simple dolls to sell at an affordable price as toys have disappeared from the markets. Each doll earns her 10 dollars, a vital amount for her family in a context of famine and lack of resources.
