When Pete Edochie Wept in Ghana

Nigerian actor Pete Edochie made a nine-day visit to Ghana from September 29 to October 7, 2026, for the launch of the Pete Edochie Legacy project. Recitations and poetry performed in his honor by Knutsford University students and pupils moved him to tears. Launched under the theme “Celebrating the Africa legend; The lion that needs not to roar,” the project includes a biographical book, a documentary series and an international tour. Edochie also unveiled his autobiography, met cultural and policy figures, visited Ghana’s gold regulator and took part in a public lecture.
