Pink October: Arvine Arlette Foundation Launches Cancer Fight Activities

As part of Pink October, the Arvine Arlette Foundation (FAA) officially launched activities in the DRC to promote cancer prevention, early detection, and care. The foundation was established based on the experience of oncologist Dr. Lokonga Kazadi Vincent Wilfred, aiming to raise awareness and improve access to early diagnosis. During the event, panels discussed breast cancer, the cancer ecosystem in DRC, and survivor testimonies were shared to encourage early screening. FAA also plans activities for November to raise awareness about prostate cancer.
