Navy arrests 'Idiot' and other pipeline vandals in Bayelsa

The Nigerian Navy announced the arrest of Godwin, known as 'Idiot', the leader of a pipeline vandalism syndicate, during an operation in Egbama-Angalabiri, Bayelsa State, on April 25, 2026. The operation was based on credible intelligence and led to the recovery of technical tools and a firearm. Another suspect, Happiness, was also arrested in connection with the case. The suspects have been handed over to authorities for investigation and prosecution.
