Sidewalks of Mbuji-Mayi Overrun by Informal Trade, Pedestrians Forced onto the Road

In Mbuji-Mayi, sidewalks are occupied by vendors selling fuel, fruits, and other goods, forcing pedestrians to walk on the road, endangering their lives. Vendors justify their presence on the sidewalks due to a lack of space for their economic activities. Roger Tshilombo, provincial coordinator of the CNPR, calls for the enforcement of road code regulations to restore order.
