Indomitable Lions: Onana, Nouhou Tolo, Moukoudi… the major absentees from David Pagou’s squad

André Onana, Nouhou Tolo and Harold Moukoudi are missing from David Pagou’s squad, along with Jackson Tchatchoua, Yvan Dibango and Stéphane Keller. The coach said he wants to assess other defensive profiles while acknowledging Nouhou Tolo’s qualities and experience. Junior Dina Ebimbe and Aaron Bibout are also absent, with no individual explanation given for their omissions. Pagou continues to test his squad ahead of two important fixtures in the race to qualify for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
