Judicial malfeasance: Bench cleansing looms as NJC probes 256 judges

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has focused on over 256 judges accused of judicial malfeasance. Two high court judges were suspended for one year without pay for misconduct. These actions follow the efforts of Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, who declared a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and implemented reforms to ensure the integrity of the judges' recruitment process.
