Yaoundé: A bailiff seizes assets at a SCB Cameroon agency

A bailiff seized several assets at the PP VOGT agency of SCB Cameroon in Yaoundé, leading to the temporary closure of the branch. This operation is part of a long-standing dispute between SCB Cameroon and the company NB SERA SARL, which is claiming nearly 800 million FCFA from the bank. The dispute has already resulted in several court rulings, including a 2024 judgment ordering SCB to pay 400 million FCFA to NB SERA.
