South Africa: Author Says She Published 371 Books in 20 Months with AI

South African author Coral Hart, a pseudonym, says she published 371 books in 20 months with the help of artificial intelligence. After 14 years in publishing and writing dozens of books without AI, she says she spent three months learning several models and building her system, and also writes under more than ten other pseudonyms. Hart says she determines each book’s concept, style, characters and chapter plan before using AI to generate text and then revise its structure and continuity. Her comments follow the controversy involving Quebec writer Thélyson Orélien, who acknowledged using AI for research after his publisher ended their relationship.
