Saly: car chase, firearm, cocaine, and counterfeit dollars, two men charged

On September 5, a Frenchman, J. G. Thibaut, and a Comorian, G. B. Charaf, were arrested in Saly following a car chase. They are charged with illegal possession of a firearm, cocaine, and counterfeit US dollars. A search of Thibaut's home revealed ammunition and counterfeit bills. The two men were brought before the prosecutor on September 10.
