Career and success: Serey Dié reflects on his regrets

Former Ivorian international Serey Dié says his greatest regret is that his late father could not enjoy his successes and the opportunities football brought him. His father initially doubted that football offered a secure future, concerned by the precarious lives of some players, but eventually let his son pursue his passion. Dié says he wishes his father were still alive to share in the blessings his career brought him.
