Shinkafi asks INEC to withdraw Ya’u’s name as APC senatorial candidate in Zamfara

Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remove Senator Sahabi Alhaji Ya’u from the APC candidate list for Zamfara North Senatorial District. Shinkafi said keeping the candidacy in place could prevent the APC from fielding a candidate and jeopardise its participation in the 2027 general elections.
