North-West: Two Gendarmes Killed in Attack

Heavy gunfire erupted at Belo Three Corners when a group of armed men, described as separatist fighters, attacked a security post. Brigade commander SAHOK MARTIAL and gendarme AMBASSA DJONA were killed. The assailants seized three service weapons before retreating to remote areas. The attack has heightened concerns in a locality regularly affected by the security crisis in Cameroon's Northwest and Southwest regions.
