Neto double gives Chelsea win marred by Martinez injury

Chelsea beat Everton 2-0 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as Pedro Neto’s double handed the Toffees their first defeat of the season and lifted Chelsea into the Premier League’s top four. Neto opened the scoring just after half-time from Jorrel Hato’s low cross and added a second in stoppage time. Chelsea goalkeeper Emi Martinez was taken to hospital after a head collision with Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite, and Mike Penders came on for his first Premier League appearance.
