Bananas: Cameroon’s exports rise by 22.4% in March 2026, driven by PHP

In March 2026, Cameroon exported 23,977 tons of bananas, marking a 22.4% increase compared to March 2025. This rise is mainly attributed to the Plantations du haut Penja (PHP), which exported 17,850 tons, up 29.2% from the previous year. The Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC) also saw its sales increase by 7.6%, reaching 3,822 tons.
