Lékié Loop: Low mobilization by Arab Contractors and unpaid bills push delivery to November 2026 - Invest in Cameroon

Delivery of the Lékié Loop is postponed to November 2026, nearly two years after the initial deadline of December 2024, with the project at 57.03% completion as of July 13, 2026. Unpaid invoices amount to 519.452 million FCFA, but the Ministry of Public Works attributes the delay primarily to poor organization and low mobilization by the Egyptian company Arab Contractors.
