UN Resolutions restores the African Continent's lost size on the global map

The UN voted to adopt the Equal Earth map projection, replacing the nearly 500-year-old Mercator method. 164 countries supported the resolution, while the United States voted against it, calling it "superfluous." Ukraine abstained, arguing that the new map undermines its territorial integrity by depicting Crimea as Russian territory. All African countries are expected to adopt this new map, which will also influence educational curricula and technology.
