Denmark's Christian Eriksen collapses on football pitch during friendly

Danish footballer Christian Eriksen, 34, collapsed on the pitch during a friendly match against Ukraine about 20 minutes into the second half. He quickly regained consciousness and was able to walk to an ambulance. The Danish Football Federation confirmed he was conscious and doing well. This is the second such incident in five years, following his cardiac arrest during Euro 2021. The match was called off. Neither Denmark nor Ukraine qualified for the 2026 World Cup.
