Traditional rulers urged to lead fight against gender violence

The Chairman of the Multi-Stakeholder Action Committee on Gender Based Violence Prevention, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, stated that the protection of women and girls is non-negotiable. At the Osun State convention of traditional rulers, he urged his peers to act as champions of cultural preservation while combating harmful practices. He also emphasized the importance of education and value orientation in preventing gender-based violence.
