Kano police complete security arrangements for Dawakin Kudu by-election

The Kano State Police Command announced that security arrangements for the Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area State Constituency by-election, scheduled for September 19, 2026, have been completed. During a final strategic meeting, Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, stated that measures have been put in place to protect voters and electoral officials. The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Amb. Zango Abdu, also confirmed that the Independent National Electoral Commission had finalized its preparations.
