Crime has no ethnicity, let us not assign blame or point fingers — Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu urged Nigerians to avoid ethnic profiling in the fight against insecurity, insisting that crime has no ethnicity. He reported that security forces neutralized over 13,000 terrorists in the past year and that more than 124,000 fighters have surrendered since 2023 under Operation Safe Corridor. He warned bandits, kidnappers, and terror sponsors to surrender or face the full force of the Nigerian state. Tinubu emphasized that criminality should not be linked to any ethnic group.
