British passengers on virus-hit cruise ship to isolate on Wirral

British passengers and staff aboard the MV Hondius, which is experiencing a hantavirus outbreak, will be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital in Wirral for isolation. Five cases of hantavirus have been confirmed, including one of the three passengers who have died. Health authorities stated that the risk to the general population remains very low, and passengers will undergo clinical assessment upon arrival.
