Businesses must replace faulty goods, compensate – Consumer protection agency

Mr. Afolabi Solebo, General Manager of the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA), stated that businesses have a responsibility to promptly replace faulty goods or provide adequate compensation. He emphasized the importance of ensuring safe products to build consumer confidence. Solebo encouraged consumers to report grievances through appropriate channels and assured the agency's commitment to protecting consumer rights.
