Why East Africa fuel crisis will linger after Iran war ceasefire

The fuel crisis in East Africa is unlikely to ease quickly, even after the recent two-week ceasefire in the Gulf. The region relies on imports of refined oil products, mainly from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda assured consumers of sufficient reserves, but these may only last until mid-May.
