Frozen Fish Initiative Reaches 50 Cities as Morocco Plans Permanent Network

More than 6,844 tonnes of frozen fish were sold across Morocco during the latest edition of the 'Hout Bithaman Maâkoul' initiative. Launched in 2019, the initiative has significantly expanded from three cities to nearly 50 by 2026. Secretary of State for Maritime Fisheries Zakia Driouich announced plans to transform this seasonal initiative into a permanent network for frozen fish sales.
