Major-General Feroz Khan to face Madlanga inquiry

Major-General Feroz Khan, deputy head of Crime Intelligence and head of Counter and Security Intelligence, is expected to testify before the Madlanga Commission on July 1. He withdrew an urgent application to prevent police and the commission from accessing his seized electronic devices, which the commission says are crucial to its investigation. Khan, along with Major General Ebrahim Kadwa, is also accused of interfering in the investigation into the 2021 Aeroton drug bust that seized cocaine worth R300 million. Hawks Lieutenant Colonel Nkoana Joseph Sebola testified, presenting texts and screenshots related to the case.
